Benjamin George Cramer, better known as Old Sea Brigade, is an American songwriter and producer based in Göthenberg, Sweden.

Old Sea Brigade's has connected over the 8 years since it’s inception, being streamed over 450 million times across his catalouge. From his debut self-titled EP, released in January 2016 to much critical acclaim. Cramer build a loyal live following touring the United States and Europe, including support shows with Passenger, Ocie Elliott, Joseph, and taking his headline shows to bigger and bigger rooms.

After a run of live shows supporting each other, Ben developed an undeniable chemistry with friend Luke Sital-Singh that carried over to the studio on the collaborative All the Ways You Sing in the Dark EP.

His 2021 sophomore album, Motivational Speaking, was called “some of the best quarantine art” (Consequence) and “sharply written and infectiously propulsive.” (Uncut).

Cramer built on these successes with his 2022 record 5am Paradise, where he reveled in new sounds and ideas, all the while exploring the textures and intricacies of everyday life in songs that made space for doubt and worry alongside joy and pleasure.

Old Sea Brigade has since received praise from the likes of WNYC Soundcheck, Brooklyn Vegan, Under The Radar, No Depression, East Nashvillian, and many more. All of this culminated with this national TV debut on CBS Mornings Saturday Sessions.

2025 saw the release of his double EP project ‘If Only I Knew’, charting the life changing move from the USA to Sweden.

Old Sea Brigade's music has been featured in notable TV shows including Apple TV+ Shrinking, Grey's Anatomy, This Is Us, Nashville, and A Million Little Things.
